What is the purpose of the plan?
To develop a recreation, parks and facilities master plan that will provide guidance to Council and Administration in making decisions that best meet the needs of the community through to 2029.
How can residents give input in-person?
There are many opportunities for residents to come and speak with our consultant team including:
> October 29, 2018, Pop-Up Input Opportunity KNRRC lobby – 5-7pm
> October 30, 2018, Pop-Up Input Opportunity Beaumont Library – 3:30-5pm
> October 30, 2018, Pop-Up Input Opportunity Beaumont Community Centre – 5:30-7pm
> Saturday November 3, 2018, DON’MISS the BUILD OUR MASTER PLAN PUBLIC EVENT
> Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre – 10am-2pm
Interact with our Lego facilitator to “build” the future and our graphic facilitator to “draw” the future
How can residents give input on-line?
There will be an online survey available at letstalkbeaumont in October/November.
Information will be circulated on social media regarding the project.
How can residents give input on the phone?
We will be
completing a random sample telephone survey in late October. If surveyors
call you, make sure you take the time to provide your feedback.
How can stakeholder groups give input?
sessions will be held as follows:
> October 29, 2018, Curling Rink Lounge – 7-9pm
> October 30, 2018, Curling Rink Lounge – 7-9pm
> November 8, 2018, Curling Rink Lounge – 7-9pm
> On October 29 and 30 we will be speaking to youth at the High School and at the Youth Centre. Yes. Residents and
