The purpose of this workshop was to report back to stakeholders the feedback received in design charrette #1 and to test new concepts and ideas for the Central Area Redevelopment Plan and French Village Design Guidelines. Information and feedback collected at this workshop were used to develop the draft documents.

findings from Stakeholder Workshop and the Design Charrette #1 to the general
public for feedback as well as raise public awareness of the Our Centre‑Ville project. 37 people attended the public open house.

Design Charrette #1A design charrette was held on April 11, 2018 to seek input from local builders, architects and developers, non-profit organizations, as well as local business leaders such as the Chamber of Commerce on key opportunities and aspirations within the downtown area. The information collected will benefit the development of the Central Area Redevelopment Plan and French Village Design Guidelines. 33 people participated in the charrette exercise.

Stakeholder WorkshopA workshop was held on April 10, 2018 with local business and organizations stakeholders to explore issues and opportunities facing Beaumont’s businesses, and gather perspectives on the benefits and challenges of investing in Beaumont’s Centre-Ville and new development areas. The information collected will be essential to investment attraction and business retention. 13 business owners and a representative from the Leduc- Nisku Economic Development Association participated in the workshop.

Project Launch - Spring Community Awareness Eventproject information was provided to the public to raise public interest in the Our Centre-Ville project as well as to provide an opportunity for residents to sign up to the project’s mailing
list. Approximately 30 people visited the booth at the event.
